Denise M. Bradeen and Jean M. DeVitto, co-owners of JMD and Associates, LLC, have over 50 years of combined experience in the  behavioral and health care industry.   

JMD and Associates, LLC can assist you with state regulatory implementation, new venture development,  development of system's strategies and implementation, survey readiness, quality assurance and other needs your organization may have. 

Denise Bradeen

Denise has over 25 years of experience providing health care and social services to both the public and private sector.

She has a broad range of proficiency which includes matters of licensure, team development, organizational management, and strategic planning; specifically for outpatient substance use disorder treatment facilities, residential substance use disorder treatment facilities and outpatient mental health facilities.

Prior to starting JMD and Associates, LLL, Denise was the Program Manager for the New Jersey Department of Health, Certificate of Need and Licensing, Mental Health, and Addiction Services where she managed and supervised the Technical Assistance Unit to ensure the prompt processing of applications for agency’s seeking licensure, as well as overseeing all licensure activities for licensed substance use disorder and mental health programs.  

In her free time, Denise can be found at the beach, traveling, watching the Buffalo Bills, and spending time with family and friends.

Jean DeVitto

Jean is the former Executive Director for the New Jersey Department of Health Certificate of Need and Licensure and former Director of Risk Management for one of New Jersey State Department of Human Services' state psychiatric hospitals.

She has recently been working for the Maine State Department of Health and Human Services Division of Licensing and Certification.

Her career includes policy development, strategic planning, regulatory development, and working with residential and outpatient programs for substance use disorders, mental health services and developmental disabilities.  

Jean is a member of the National Association for Regulatory Administration (NARA). She has presented at their annual conference and has been a member of various NARA committees.
